The ubu story

Facts

Founded in 1987 in Ettlingen, Baden, initially for companies in the region. After successfully acquiring numerous customers, increasingly active throughout Germany. Since 2014, therefore, with an additional location in Hamburg for northern Germany.

Motivation

We are convinced that a lack of occupational health and safety can cost any company dearly. Our aim is to offer our customers active occupational health and safety that pays off in the long term.

Vision

Since 2016, ubu has been undergoing a generational change that has brought a breath of fresh air with digitalization and new internal processes. Even in an increasingly fast-paced working environment, we want to provide our customers with a contemporary
offer occupational health and safety. We continue to stand by our founding values.

Anke Weischedel

Co-Managing Director & Sifa

As an occupational safety specialist, Anke Weischedel has been responsible for all aspects of occupational safety since 2005. Her many years as a hotel manager and restaurateur have given her a wealth of background knowledge about the needs of this industry. When she is not doing yoga, she is a cheerful and passionate cook in her private life, making sure that the house never hangs askew.

Christoph Weischedel

Business Manager (English Native Speaker)

Christoph Weischedel has been working as a Business Manager at the company since June 2014. He is responsible for customer support, quality management and marketing. After an almost 27-year relationship with six screens that did not always share his English sense of humor, the former investment banker is very happy to finally be able to talk to real people in person again.

Dr. Christa Wacheck

Company doctor

Our company doctor, Dr. Christa Wacheck, is a lover of classical music and if the turntable ever stands still, it's probably because her nose is stuck in a new crime novel.

Dr. Nikolaus Droscha retired from his position as company physician on 30.09.2022 for reasons of age.
